This tarot spread will help you brainstorm actionable ideas to make your life more pleasurable and enjoyable through the experience of you five senses.
Reading the Tarot Spread
For the tarot spread, shuffle the cards any way you’d like and lay out three cards in the order shown on the journal page.
Before you begin reading the cards, answer the following questions in your journal:
- Three of my favorite textures are…
- Three things I find beautiful are…
- Three sounds I love…
- Three foods or drinks I love…
- Three smells I love…
CARDS ONE THROUGH THREE: How can I bring more of these into my life?
These three cards will help you brainstorm ideas for adding more of the sensual pleasures that you identified above into your life. Use each card as you consider each of the five senses and the pleasures you enjoy to come up with a long list of ideas.
Once you have a list of at least 20 ideas for adding more of your favorite sensual pleasures into your life, review the list and circle three different items you can take action on by the end of the day. Choose another three to take action on tomorrow. Aim to complete at least half the list within the next seven days, enjoying each pleasure fully.
Use your journal to record how adding these sensual pleasures into your life makes you feel.
