The 14 cards of the Wands suit represent the burning passions of your personality and spirit. These cards are about creativity, inspiration, ambition, dreams, and goals.
The Fire element is represented by the Wands suit. In tarot, it is often depicted by fire, or sometimes a desert or a blazing sun.
You can think of the Wand as a magic wand – making something wonderful happen with focus and creativity. Or as a much larger staff, protecting and defending what you love most in the world.
A person ruled by the Wands (or the Fire element) will be driven, passionate, optimistic, energetic, and creative. If this energy is taken too far, it can become self-centered, overly dramatic, rash, or immature.
While they may be extremely charismatic and energetic, they sometimes hog the limelight and let their temper blaze into an inferno.
The Wands cards tend to move quickly, so if you read tarot predictively, you can interpret these cards to have a very short timeline.
